Subscriber agreement and terms of service
These terms apply to Mzansi Tenders, a service of Mzansi Tenders, a trading name of TSH Textiles (Pty) Ltd. When you create an account you tick that you accept them, and we record the date, time and version you accepted. Version 2026-11-07.
1. The service
Mzansi Tenders collects open government tenders from National Treasury's eTenders portal and other public sources, sorts them, and reads tender documents to list likely requirements. We are not part of National Treasury, the eTenders portal or any buyer, and we cannot influence any tender outcome.
2. What we promise, and what we can't
We show you where government tenders are, explain what each one asks for in plain words, and guide you through how the government's buying process works, from registering on the CSD to submitting your bid and following the award. We can't promise that you will win any tender, that a buyer will accept your bid, or that a buyer will publish or keep to its own dates. Every award is decided by the buyer under its own rules, and we have no say in it.
3. Accuracy
Tender information comes from public sources and our document reading is automated, so it can be incomplete, late or wrong. Always confirm requirements, briefing details and closing times in the official tender documents before you submit. We are not responsible for a bid that is late, incomplete or disqualified.
4. Membership and billing
The Starter package and Business package plans cost R380 or R750 a month respectively (or yearly: Starter package R3,800 and Business package R7,500, two months free), billed in advance through PayFast. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel. Founding members: if you subscribe before 7 February 2027, your monthly price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active; if you cancel and later rejoin, the price at that time applies. The Business package includes translation of up to 20 full notices a month. Business services, the Business Starter and Full Package, AI submission packs (one a month is included in the Starter package, then R150 per tender) and supplier contacts (R20 per sector) are once-off payments; the Business Starter continues as Business package at R750 a month until you cancel. On the Business package you can add team logins for colleagues at R75 a month per person (up to 3 people including you), each debited automatically by card through PayFast; removing a colleague stops their R75 from the next month, and cancelling the Business package stops every team seat. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.
5. 7-day money-back guarantee and cancelling
If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment for a package, we refund that payment in full. Ask by email at Business@mzansitenders.co.za, or stop your membership under Billing settings on your Account page and tell us you want the refund. This matches your cooling-off right under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. After 7 days you can still stop at any time; we just don't refund part-months. The details, including business services and once-off purchases, are in our refund and cancellation policy.
6. Your account and your responsibilities
Keep your login email secure. A membership is for your own business; don't share access or resell, copy in bulk, or automatically download the service's data. We may suspend accounts that do.
You are responsible for the information you give us being true and up to date, and for your own bids: what they contain, the documents and signatures in them, how and where you submit them, and meeting each closing time. Keep your password private; you're responsible for what's done with your login. Use the service lawfully and only for your own business.
7. Business services: you own what we deliver
For business services (company registration, CSD, B-BBEE, SARS, labour, customs, company profile, website and the start-up packages) we prepare and submit applications on your behalf, in your business's name, with the details and documents you give us. Everything that results belongs to you and your business: registration certificates, numbers, PINs, letters, affidavits, your company profile, your website content and your web address. We do not own, hold back or charge you to release any of it, and you can download it from My profile at any time. Government fees, where they apply, are paid directly to the department. We cannot guarantee that a department approves an application, but we fix and resubmit anything that is rejected because of our error at no charge.
8. Sending your bid by email
When you use Send my bid, we email the documents you choose to the buyer address you choose from the tender, in your business's name, as a one-off instruction from you. We only send bids by email. We don't deliver to tender boxes, post or courier, and we don't upload to e-procurement portals. You stay responsible for: checking that the tender accepts emailed bids and that the address is right; what your bid contains, including your quotation, forms, signatures and supporting documents; submitting before the closing time; and getting confirmation of receipt from the buyer. We can't guarantee that an email is delivered, received, opened or accepted, for example because of the buyer's spam filters or size limits. We keep a record of what was sent, when and to whom.
9. Your data
We use your information only to give you the service you signed up for: matching tenders, alerts, your documents and bids, your business services, billing and support. We never sell it, never share it for anyone's marketing, and never use it for any other purpose. Documents you upload are private to your account (and the team members you add). We handle personal information under POPIA, as set out in our privacy notice, and you can ask us for a copy of your data or to delete it.
10. Payments and security
Card payments are processed by PayFast, which is PCI DSS compliant. We never see or store your card details.
11. Other services and availability
Parts of the service depend on others: National Treasury's eTenders portal and buyers' own websites for tender information, PayFast for payments, and email providers for delivery. We aren't responsible for their content, their downtime or their mistakes. We work to keep the site running, but it may be unavailable at times, for example while we update it.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, a lost or missed tender, a disqualified bid, or loss caused by information from public sources, by other services, or by events outside our reasonable control.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims, losses and costs that arise because you broke these terms, gave false or misleading information, or used the service unlawfully, including claims about bids you submitted.
14. Suspending or ending an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing logins, copying the service's data in bulk, or giving false information. We'll tell you why and, where it's fair, give you a chance to fix it first. You can close your account at any time.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll email members about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
16. Law and disputes
South African law applies. Please contact us first at Business@mzansitenders.co.za so we can try to resolve any complaint.
17. General
These terms, the privacy notice and the refund policy are the whole agreement between us. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given it up. Nothing here takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
